First of all I would like to say Mr. Babb is very humble about all of this. Being very lucky to have met him and to have been an employee in the past. This man has overcome some of life’s Biggest and I mean “Biggest” problems all with a warm bright smile and words of encouragment to those around him. As he states he is a cancer Survivor, he also shed many pounds and pant sizes out of sheer will and determination. I have the esteemed pleasure of being able to proof his novel, very well done for a first novel, I believe. But above even that I have the honor of calling this man my Friend and consider him a Brother.

    Hello James,
Just purchased your new book “The Devils Backbone” for my kindle. My son Greg and you were classmates and friends in high school. I am delighted to know that you are an author. I know I will enjoy your new book. Was wondering if I might somehow get an autographed copy of both of your books for my son Greg? Please give me your info and I will mail you a check for the books. I’m thinking that it would be a wonderful Christmas surprise for Greg. So glad that you are doing well.

  6. Hi James

Tried to find your book on this site and couldn’t. Had to Google it. Maybe you should put some links up on this blog to make it easier to buy your book.

Gratz on beating the big C.

    Hi James,
I bought both of your books at AAIM, and both my husband and I have read both already! My husband’s 86-year-old uncle read it in one sitting and gave it a two-thumbs up! Love the Arkansas connection, but more importantly, I love the realistic portrayal of your characters. They’ll be wonderful for those middle-school boys who are craving action. Where is the best place to purchase more copies? Also, when will you have another title out? My husband is especially looking forward to it! I am a media specialist in Hot Springs and would like to do a book club with one of your books. Looking forward to hearing from you!

    • Hi Jackie,
Thanks for giving me an update! Amazon has the books for $9, or I can have copies mailed to you at the AAIM price of $8 with autograph. Shipping depends on the # of books. The last book in the series, The Devil’s Den, comes out this year. I’m super glad all of you enjoyed the first two.

James, I am an old youngster who grew up with your father, but I have really enjoyed your books. I hope I get to meet you some day, is not likely. Love what you are doing for young readers. Keep up the good work, and know that I am praying for your good health. God bless. Charles Lamb

    • Thanks so much for your message and prayers! It really means a lot. Hopefully I’ll get to visit next time I’m invited to Midland schools.

      • Charles Lamb

That would be great. I am not in Arkansas at this time, but I hope to be back home in the near future. In the meantime, keep up your good work, and God bless.
